Teaching material - Primary level: Discover your environment
Based on the map viewer from geo.admin.ch, three teaching units for the primary level were compiled in 2014. These can be modified by teachers according to their needs in everyday school life. The development of the teaching aids took place within a pilot project with teachers/school classes from the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn, in collaboration with imedias, the Advisory Office for Digital Media in Schools and Classes (FHNW), educa.ch, the Swiss Education Server and OFCOM, the Federal Office of Communications. The goal was then to expand this project to all cantons. A national follow-up project was created: www.sCHoolmaps.ch.
