Service and incident status website for the Federal Geodata Infrastructure
The service and incident status for the Federal Geoportal’s web services and Mapviewer is now available exclusively on docs.geo.admin.ch.
The previous website status.geo.admin.ch has therefore been disabled.
Since November 2025, the technical documentation of the Federal Spatial Data Infrastructure (FSDI) on docs.geo.admin.ch has centralized the information about interfaces, APIs, geoservices and map viewer tools provided by geo.admin.ch. In case of a disruption or service failure, the latest updates are published there.
The doc.geo.admin.ch website delivers additionally information on interface, service, and geodata updates, alongside announcements regarding the decommissioning. Consequently, it serves as the central reference for IT and GIS specialists utilizing *geo.admin.ch services.
