Information about test.map.geo.admin.ch
The test map viewer on test.map.geo.admin.ch was updated this week on 30 Nov 2023, so that it differs from the productive map viewer map.geo.admin.ch primarily through the use of modern technologies. In terms of functionality, only minor adjustments are noticeable compared to map.geo.admin.ch. The test map viewer will correspond to the next map viewer, which will go live in spring, once the outstanding functions (compare, import, print) have been implemented.
The geoportal team would like to thank you for the extremely helpful and varied feedback on the test map viewer this year, which has provided important information for the future provision of vector maps in the map viewer. The vector maps with worldwide coverage currently available on test.map.geo.admin.ch will be made available on map.geo.admin.ch at a later date.
