New update of map.geo.admin.ch of the 12.05.2025
New features and bug fixes are available on the federal geoportal under version 1.55!

The following points are particularly important in this update:
- Support for BigTIFF files that can be loaded from your local file system
- Elevation profiles:
- Highlight the current segment on the map
- Zoom to the segment area when using the magnifying glass button in the profile window
- Added the option to reverse the direction of the profile
- Connect individual segments of lines, including their profiles. - iFrame / Embed:
- Added a transparent black background when the iframe is defined to not respond to zooming without the CTRL/CMD keys
