Geoinformation and "sustainable cities and communities"

The Sustainable Development Goal No. 11 of the United Nations: "Sustainable Cities and Communities" aims to make cities and settlements "inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable". It aims e.g. to reduce the adverse per capita environmental impact emanating from cities. Similarly, it aims to ensure access to safe and affordable housing and transportation systems. Data sets in the federal government's map viewer show, for example, where projects in this field already exist, or how well a region is currently served by public transport.
