The Patrouille des Glaciers (PDG) is an international military ski mountaineering race organised by the Swiss Armed Forces that is also open to civilian patrols. The course runs from Zermatt to Verbier (Z race) or from Arolla to Verbier (A race) and must be completed in one go.
