After World War I and up to the beginning of the 1950s, much of the region of the Alps was topographically surveyed using terrestrial photogrammetry. The imagery catalogue of swisstopo comprises around 57'000 scanned analogue terrestrial images from this period.
The images are represented by the centre-image coordinates, the image footprint as well as the attributed metadata. These images can also be viewed in their full resolution.
The terrestrial images can be ordered as digital files. If available, the orientation elements of the terrestrial images can be delivered as well.
