Which vineyards can receive slope subsidies? (FOAG)
In order to take the difficult production and living conditions in agriculture into adequate consideration, slope subsidies have been established for areas eligible for direct payments.

Several slope classes are taken into account. Production is based on swisstopo's swissALTI3D model.
Contributions for «Vineyards on slopes» help to preserve sloping or terraced land. In order to take account of the conditions of the vineyards to be supported, the calculation of contributions distinguishes between contributions for vineyard areas on steep slopes and those on particularly steep slopes and terraced vineyards on retaining walls.
