How much electricity or heat can my house façade produce? (SFOE)
The map shows the degree of suitability of a façade for the use of solar energy, together with the potential yield. For this purpose the course of the sun throughout the year is simulated and the level of solar radiation reaching the façade is calculated.

The indicated surface area encompasses the entire façade, without deducting the space occupied by windows, etc. The calculations are based on the data provided by the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology (MeteoSwiss) and the 3D building data (swissBUILDINGS3D 2.0) of the Federal Office of Topography (swisstopo).
