Ticks – also in our area? according to measurements (FOPH)
Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is an infectious disease that is caused by the TBE virus and can give rise to meningitis. The disease is transmitted via bites from infected ticks.
The Federal Office of Public Health presents the static geographical distribution of areas where ticks can establish themselves and survive in nature and the areas where vaccination against TBE is recommended.
