The catalogue service for web (CSW) enables you to search for information about the geoservices and geodata of the spatial data infrastructure (SDI).

The catalogue service for web (CSW) enables you to search for geoservices and geographical data-sets on the basis of the corresponding geographical metadata. The CSW discovery service is made available through the geocat.ch metadata search engine.

The geocat.ch discovery service brings together geodata suppliers across the whole of Switzerland and offers a variety of search functions. geocat.ch is the ideal starting point for searches for special geodata such as aerial photographs, protected heritage sites, natural hazards, etc.
