Discovery services	The catalogue service for web (CSW) enables you to search for information about the geoservices and geodata of the spatial data infrastructure (SDI). The geoservices / portrayal services under geo.admin.ch also link with a discovery service (OGC catalogue service for web CSW 2.0.2) which will help you to find information about geoservices and geodata.
Data supply	The geodata available from the Federal Administration can be obtained directly from the relevant Federal Office. Metadata can be obtained free of charge from geocat, Switzerland’s geographical metadata catalogue.

The Federal spatial data infrastructure (FSDI) is the part of the NSDI within the Federal administration itself and whose implementation represents the specific task of the two COGIS Processes FSDI Coordination and projects and FSDI Web Infrastructure. INSPIRE Services	INSPIRE Services consist among others of View Services (WMS) and Download Services (ATOM/OS). These are used for European Spatial Data Infrastructure which is implemented according to the INSPIRE Directive of the European Union.
