mobile.map.geo.admin.ch  the BETA version of the map viewer for mobile devices of the geoportal of the Swiss Confederation is now online.

With the BETA mobile.map.geo.admin.ch, iOS and Android operating systems and their standard browsers are supported. Following functions are available: 

• Representation of the national map in different scales (zoom in / zoom out)
• Panning and various touchscreen interactions
• Center on the current position (geolocation) and display the name of the current community
• Information panel
• Feedback function to report malfunction or corrections regarding map content
• Link to screenshots / mockup of final version
• Link to http://www.geo.admin.ch

The BETA version enables the access via mobile devices to the most important functions to an interested audience and allows them to send a feedback.
